Solar Imaging Session - January 3, 2014

The sky this morning is clear and seeing condition is good. Giant AR11944 Sunspot Group is slowly emerging out of the eastern limb and shows great prospect of becoming a naked eye sunspot group in the days to come AR11936 Sunspot Group, on the other hand, is about to exit the western limb in a day or two. In Ha wavelength, AR11944 Sunspot Group shows a great amount of solar activity not only on its core but also its surrounding. There is also 2 nice large eruptive prominences that are visible in the NW and Western limb.
